Vancouver, BC. - We’re excited to announce that The Vancouver Basketball Foundation™ has been awarded Canada Summer Jobs funding through the Government of Canada! This funding is not only a meaningful step forward as we continue to expand access to sport and community connection for youth but a true investment in the next generation of leaders and changemakers. 

This summer, we’re rolling out a dynamic lineup of camps and events designed to inspire, empower, and celebrate youth in our community. With support from the Government of Canada and dedicated community partners, we’re proud to offer these programs at no cost to youth and their families.

We’ll be bringing on a team of Youth Basketball Coaches and a Program Coordinator to help lead our summer programming. If you believe in the power of sport to create positive change and you’re passionate about youth development, community building, and giving back, we’d love to hear from you! 

 Who we’re looking for:

• Youth aged 15 to 30 who are eligible under the Canada Summer Jobs program
• Those who enjoy working with and inspiring youth
• Reliable, enthusiastic team players who bring strong communication skills and a positive presence
