The Vancouver Basketball Foundation™ is thrilled to celebrate the launch of Full Court Press and our partnership together. Full Court Press is a community-focused initiative led by VPD Constable and School Liaison Officer Randy Lee. FCP is dedicated to using basketball as a tool for empowerment and building positive connections between youth, community and police members.
Full Court Press delivered cost-free Spring Break Basketball Clinics for underserved youth in the East Vancouver community. Led by VPD members and community coaches, athletes learned basketball fundamentals, played 3 on 3 game and worked on life skills through guest speaking workshops.
In June, Full Court Press will continue to help grow the game, inviting youth and VPD members to watch a Vancouver Bandits game at the Langley Events Centre in a private executive suite!
At the heart of both our organization and Full Court Press is the belief that basketball can be more than just a game—it’s a platform for positive change. By providing access to structured programming in safe, supportive spaces, we aim to build confidence, foster connections, and inspire the next generation of young leaders.
